The ‘Innovate Forward’ grant program, designed to foster early-stage technological breakthroughs, was officially launched five-plus years ago.
In its inaugural year, it funded a dozen promising projects, several of which have since become successful startups.
The application criteria for the grant were last revised two years ago to broaden its scope.
The deadline for the current cycle of applications is next month, and the winners will be announced in three months.
