The initial community consultations for the ‘Old Town’ Revitalization Project took place back before five years ago, gathering local input on how to preserve the area’s heritage while encouraging new growth.
The formal project proposal, incorporating this feedback, was submitted to the city council four years and ten months prior to this date.
The first phase of infrastructure upgrades began three years ago.
We are currently in the final stages of the commercial district renewal, which started last year.
The new town square is set to open next spring.
